Keiichi Tanaami, a “Red Colored Bridge” animation still

Keiichi Tanaami can easily keep GADABOUT in business all by himself. His Tanaami Tee x 100 exhibition is just a month like over and he’s already back with a brand new show at Nanzuka. Red Colored Bridge, the latest Tanaami’s digital animation, continues the theme of the bridge as a symbol of interconnection between the worlds last seen at his Dividing Bridge show. Unlike his refined paintings, an experimental GIF-like animation, accompanied by a large selection of drawings and sketchbooks dating between 1980 and present, is much rawer, carefree in feel once again demonstrating Tanaami’s bold, ingenious and youthful approach. Through August 5th.
